The specimen exam indicates how the paper will be assessed, structured and the likely style and range of questions that could be asked. Any student preparing to take this exam should familiarise themselves with the exam style.
All specimen exam questions and solutions are the copyright of ACCA and can only be used for classroom and student use in preparation for their ACCA exams. They cannot be published in any form (paper or soft copy), or sold for profit in any way, without first gaining the express permission of ACCA. Nor can they be used as examinations, in whole or in part, by other institutions or awarding bodies.
Note: Maths tables (net present value and annuity tables) will not be provided with each exam paper but specific discount factors and annuity factors will be given where a question requires one. Similarly, specific formula such as EOQ, will be given where a question requires one.
You can download a PDF of the MA2 Specimen Exam from the Related Documents section at the bottom of this page.
Questions included in the specimen computer-based exam are similar to those in the equivalent paper-based specimen exam. Therefore the given rationale for each answer in the paper-based specimen should also be relevant for questions within the specimen computer based exam. There is also a computer based specimen exam which is a useful revision tool for students sitting CBEs.
